Nobel Prize: All Details are as below

-Instituted in 1901

-Established in 1967

-Named after Swedish inventor ALFRED BERNHARD NOBEL (a chemical engineer)

-Awarded annually on 10 December.
-First Nobel Prize in Chemistry- (1901)Vont Hoff---Father of Organic Chemistry.

*Awarded for outstanding work in the fields of-

i) Physics

ii) Chemistry

iii) Physiology and Medicine

iv) Literature

v) Peace

vi) Economics (Started in 1968)

-Out of total six categories only Nobel Peace Prize were given by Norway.

-Nobel Prize under rest five categories like- Physics, Chemistry, Physiology & Medicine, Literature and Economics were presented by Sweden.

-Each recipient receives a gold medal, a diploma and a sum of money that has been decided by the Nobel Foundation.
