The first book is –

Automotive Mechanics by Joseph Heitner

This is one of the Best books for MCQ and Interview.

Key Feature:

No any type of Mistake whether Technical or Printing.

Very easy English anyone can understand.

At the end of every topic, there is a chart given called “Trouble Shooting Chart”.

5 to 6 measure for each trouble is given. After reading these any engine can be repaired.

After reading those “Troubleshooting chart” anyone can repair the automobile.

Shortcoming:

No Numerical in this book so you have to follow any other book for Numerical Problem.

2^nd Book is-

IC Engine by V. Ganeshan

This is one of the best books for the numerical purpose.

Key Feature:

Best book for numerical Questions

All Types of Numerical are given.

The problem is fairly deals.

Each chapter has 20-50 Multiple Choice Question.

Shortcoming:

The theory is horrible.

Not a Good book for Theory purposes.

3^rd Book is-

IC Engine by Mathur and Sharma

Best book for Competitive Exams Like GATE and Engineering Services.

Key Feature:

Several GATE and ESE questions are asked directly from this book.

Conclusion:

It is not an easy task to cover 700-800 pages of the books. So, If you want to save your time and clear your concept in an easy way then you should read our handwritten notes.
