UPRVUNL AE Exam Pattern

Direct Recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer (AE) shall be made through an Objective Type Competitive Examination and Interview. 
There shall be 150 Objective Type Questions from the syllabus of the degree in the relevant branch and 50 Objective Type Questions comprising General Hindi, General Knowledge, and Reasoning.

CBT (Computer Based Test)
Technical/Domain Knowledge- 150 Q
Reasoning- 20 Q
General Knowledge- 20 Q

General Hindi- 10 Q
Total Questions= 200 Q
Total Marks= 200
Duration= 180 Minutes
Negative Marking- 1/4 (ie 0.25 Marks)

Minimum Qualifying Marks
For SC/ST- 28 Marks
For Others- 33 Marks

Interview
Total Marks= 20 
Based on CBT 3 Times candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification and Interview.
